College was founded in 1987 in the photo was the purpose of the establishment to be Educational platform to produce cadres of teaching elementary and junior high schools in the Sultanate.In 1995 Royal Decree No. 42/95 where the total university graduates are awarded a bachelor's degree in education.
School pictures can be seen as the leading scientific institution and the witness to a thriving civilization in the eastern part of Oman. As well as pictures of Pearl City eastern coast and known to tourists through Qlaahat, towers, landscapes, industries, fisheries and agriculture. Tire located on the east coast of Oman and after 3 and a half hours drive from the city leadership Muscat. The admission of students of both sexes under the conditions established by the Ministry of Higher Education. The student chooses allocated among several disciplines, "Geography - History - Math / Computer - Islamic studies - studies of language (Arabic - English) - Science (Chemistry - Physics -Biology).
And more recently was the conversion of 6 colleges, including the Educational images Faculty of Science to colleges Applied study the decisions of the English-language programs include information technology, communication and design and management of international business. |

The IT department offers a wide range of course in IT. The courses are focused towards giving a headstart for
careers in IT industry in Oman and the Gulf.
There are three specializations to choose from:
Software Development
Networking
Security
Given the prevalence of IT these days students from other
departments also take courses offered by the IT department
The department has staff from many countries who bring
with them many years of experience in both academia and
industry.
Staff interests include topics such as software development,
information systems, security, databases, web design and development,
and networking.
